Waarom deze bootcamp?

Digitale Veiligheid (Digital Security) vraagt om visie, strategische capaciteiten, persoonlijk leiderschap en flexibiliteit. Ook is het noodzakelijk dat digitale veiligheid onderdeel is van het DNA van alle medewerkers binnen een organisatie, zowel binnen de bedrijfsprocessen als de IT medewerkers. Dit betekent dat jij tevens verantwoordelijk bent voor het stimuleren van veilig gedrag, de discipline om dagelijks de juiste dingen goed te doen en de afgesproken resultaten te leveren. 

Om dit te realiseren is een sterke leider nodig in digitale veiligheid die naast richting kan geven ook de kwaliteiten heeft om mensen te kunnen veranderen, belangrijke stakeholders kan managen, in geval van een crisis situatie heldere besluiten kan nemen, omgevingsbewust is, kan anticiperen op nieuwe ontwikkelingen en bedreigingen en de organisatie kan blijven motiveren om veilig te worden en te blijven. We kunnen hiervoor veel van ons leger leren en daarom hebben we voor deze bootcamp de wereld van digital security en het leger weten te combineren. 

Wat levert het je op?

Dit 32-urig programma (2 dagen aaneengesloten) is ontwikkeld om leiders in digitale veiligheid te ontwikkelen en hulpmiddelen te bieden. Dit unieke programma is ontwikkeld vanuit het idee om met jezelf intensief aan de slag te gaan in een 32 uur durende bootcamp en de leider te worden die je zelf wil zijn. Om het meeste uit jezelf te halen en te leren houden we deze training ergens in Nederland in de natuur, waar weinig ruimte is voor afleiding. Wij geloven dat je van jezelf alleen een betere leider kunt maken wanneer je intensief met jezelf aan de slag gaat en ruimte in jezelf creëert om de gewenste verandering ook daadwerkelijk mogelijk te maken. 

Deze unieke learning experience is iets voor jou als je:

• iets anders zoekt dan een standaard leiderschapstraining online of in een collegezaal
• op zoek bent naar een training waar je echt aan het werk gaat met grensverleggende (fysieke) activiteiten

Programma

Intake

Na inschrijving zullen we contact opnemen om een intake te plannen. Deze intake is bedoeld om de eigen doelstellingen ten aanzien van digitaal leiderschap te definiëren. Aan deze doelstellingen zal tijdens de 2 dagen worden gewerkt.

32-urige experience

Tijdens de 2 dagen zullen we de volgende aandachtsgebieden laten langskomen:

• Introductie in Leiderschap
• De Leider zelf. Welke stijl past bij jou, wie wil je zijn en hoe kom je over
• Het belang van een meeslepende visie en duidelijke strategie voor digitale veiligheid
• Leidinggeven aan anderen en de kunst van beïnvloeding. (up-the-chain, down-the-chain, without-a-chain)
• Neerzetten van een sterk team voor digitale veiligheid
• Leidinggeven in crisis situaties
• Veranderen van anderen
• Het belang van cultuur
• De kracht en belang van communicatie bij digitale veiligheid
• De perceptie over digitale veiligheid medewerkers/leiders door een mystery guest

Aan het einde van het programma zal je een persoonlijk ontwikkelplan meenemen waarmee je zelf aan de slag kan. 

Na afloop

Een maand na de training zal de docent na je keuze contact met je opnemen over de voortgang met je ontwikkelplan en waarbij ruimte is voor vragen of laatste tips om je verder te helpen op je reis. Wij zullen hier ook een terugkom sessie organiseren waar alle deelnemers nogmaals bij elkaar komen.

Praktische informatie

De eerst volgende bootcamp wordt gegeven op 23 en 24 mei 2024. Locatie van deze bootcamp is in de natuur in Brabant. De bootcamp duurt 2 dagen aaneengesloten. Aan de bootcamp kunnen minimaal 6 en maximaal 8 personen deelnemen. 

* Dit programma kan ook als outdoor “incompany” training worden aangeboden. Neem daarvoor contact met ons op.

Tarief

Het tries is Euro 1299 (exclusief BTW) per deelnemer. Accommodatie, overnachting, lunch en diner zijn inclusief.

Why this bootcamp?

Digital Security requires vision, strategic capabilities, personal leadership and flexibility. It is also necessary that digital security is part of the DNA of all employees within an organization, both within the business processes and in IT. This means that you are also responsible for stimulating safe behavior, discipline to do the right things well on a daily basis and to reach the agreed objectives.

To achieve this, a strong leader in digital security is needed who, in addition to providing direction, also has the qualities to be able to change people, manage important stakeholders, make clear decisions in the event of a crisis situation, is aware of the environment, can anticipate to new developments and threats and can continue motivating the organization to become and remain safe. We can learn a lot from our army for this and that is why we have managed to combine the world of digital security and the army for this bootcamp.

This unique program was developed from the idea of working intensively with yourself in a 32-hour bootcamp and becoming the leader you want to be. To get the most out of yourself and to learn, we hold this training somewhere in the Netherlands in nature, where there is little room for distraction. We believe that you can only make yourself a better leader if you work intensively with yourself and create space within yourself to actually make the desired change possible.

Program

Intake

After registration we will contact you to schedule an intake. This intake is intended to define your own objectives with regard to digital leadership. These objectives will be worked on during the 2 days.

32-hour experience

During the 2 days we will show the following focus areas:

• The Leader himself. Which style suits you, who do you want to be and how do you come across?
• The importance of an compelling vision and clear digital security strategy
• Leading others and the art of influencing. (up-the-chain, down-the-chain, without-a-chain)
• Building a strong digital security team
• Leading in crisis situations
• Changing others
• The importance of culture
• The power of and importance of communication in digital security
• The perception about digital security employees/leaders by a mystery guest

At the end of the program, you will create a personal development plan with which you can continue your own development when going back to business. 

Aftercare

One month after the training, one of the teachers of your choice will contact you about the progress with your development plan and where there is room for questions or final tips to help you further on your journey. We will also organize a comeback session where all participants come together again.

Barry Derksen

Barry is a professor at the Antwerp Management School and also directory Cyber Security (CISO) at LeasePlan. Barry has written more than 20 books with Trends in IT & Business being the most famous with more than 450,000 copies sold. Barry is also a director at ISACA NL chapter and Secure Software Alliance. 

His strength is to bring about change with a lot of motivation and energy. He stands for his colleagues and works together to realize them. With the same energy, he knows how to convince fellow leaders to make the necessary security investments and improvements.

Barry Cornelissen

Barry is Coach and Onder officer in the Army.  As a coach he helps to support and guide others in (personal) leadership. He has also been the driving force behind outdoor coaching trips. In the Army he has worked  in Special Forces units, such as Marine Corps  and Corps Commando Troops where he  has been deployed to various war zones. 

His strength is making the complex story simple. There is a metaphor everywhere. You are what you do

Mark Butterhoff

Mark is the author of the book “Leading in Digital Security – 12 ways to combat the silent enemy“.  In addition,  he  is Global Information Security Officer at  an AEX listed multinational and is a lecturer at various business schools and universities. Over the last 22 year he gained experience at 80 different organizations in 17 countries in the areas of Digital Security, IT Governance, Management and Restructuring.

His strength is to empower people and bring them together to work together in a result-oriented way towards a clear vision and objective.

Practical information

The next bootcamp is on 23 and 24 May 2024. Location is somewhere in the woods in the Netherlands. The boot camp lasts 2 days consecutively. A minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 people can participate in the bootcamp.
